Liberecká punkrocková kapela Kohout plaší smrt patří ke stálicím české klubové a festivalové scény. Funguje od roku 1996 a za sebou má desítky sezón koncertování, řadu nahrávek, videoklipů i vlastní knihu vzpomínek Nejlepší by bylo mít tučňáka ve vaně. Jejich hudba stojí na punkové energii, melodických kytarách, přímočarosti a humoru, díky kterému si kapela drží výraznou tvář i věrné publikum.

The Liberec-based punk rock band Kohout plaší smrt is a long-standing fixture of the Czech club and festival scene. Active since 1996, the band has decades of live performances behind it, along with numerous recordings, music videos and even its own book of memories, Nejlepší by bylo mít tučňáka ve vaně (It Would Be Best to Have a Penguin in the Bathtub). Their music is built on punk energy, melodic guitars, directness and humour — qualities that have helped the band maintain its distinctive identity and loyal audience.
