Světově uznávaný dobrodružný filmař a kameraman Keith Partridge se vrací do Teplic nejen jako člen festivalové poroty, ale také jako skvělý vypravěč a showman. Jeho loňské povídání patřilo k památným okamžikům festivalu a letos na něj naváže druhou částí svého života za kamerou.

Keith procestoval všech sedm kontinentů a za objektivem stál u desítek dobrodružných filmových projektů — od prvovýstupů na dosud nevylezené hory až po první sestupy do neprobádaných jeskyní. Jeho filmografie zahrnuje legendární Touching the Void / Pád do ticha a spolupráci s produkcemi jako BBC, National Geographic, Discovery, Channel 4 a dalšími. Společně s Brianem Hallem také spolurežíroval oceňovaný dokument Bonington: Mountaineer.

V přednášce More Life Behind the Lens – Part II se Keith podělí o další silné, absurdní i naprosto bláznivé příběhy ze zákulisí velkých produkcí, které vznikaly v extrémních místech po celém světě. Se svou typickou sebeironií bude vyprávět tak, jak to opravdu bylo — jako člověk, který celý život zachycuje podstatu dobrodružství na film. A samozřejmě s pořádnou dávkou britského humoru.

World-renowned adventure filmmaker and cinematographer Keith Partridge returns to Teplice not only as a member of the festival jury, but also as a brilliant storyteller and showman. His talk last year became one of the memorable moments of the festival, and this year he continues with the second part of his life behind the camera.

Keith has travelled to all seven continents and has worked behind the lens on dozens of adventure film projects — from first ascents of unclimbed mountains to first descents into unexplored caves. His credits include the legendary Touching the Void and collaborations with productions such as BBC, National Geographic, Discovery, Channel 4 and others. Together with Brian Hall, he also co-directed the award-winning documentary Bonington: Mountaineer.

In More Life Behind the Lens – Part II, Keith will share more powerful, absurd and wonderfully crazy behind-the-scenes stories from major productions filmed in extreme locations around the world. With his typical self-deprecating style, he tells it as it really was — as someone who has spent his life capturing the essence of adventure on film. And, of course, with a generous dose of British humour.
