Keith Partridge

Keith Partridge je britský filmař, kameraman, autor a specialista na natáčení v extrémních podmínkách. Patří mezi nejrespektovanější světové osobnosti dobrodružné a horské kinematografie. Během více než třicetileté kariéry natáčel ve vysokých horách, jeskyních, arktických oblastech, džunglích i na dalších těžko dostupných místech světa — od Everestu a Jižního pólu až po Papuu-Novou Guineu, Grónsko nebo Venezuelu. Jeho práce je spojena s více než osmdesáti filmy z extrémního prostředí a s projekty oceněnými mimo jiné cenami BAFTA a International Emmy. Mezi jeho nejznámější práce patří film Touching the Void a dokumentární série BBC Human Planet. V roce 2019 získal Grand Prize organizace International Alliance for Mountain Film za mimořádný přínos horské kinematografii. Keith Partridge is a British filmmaker, cinematographer, author and specialist in filming in extreme environments. He is regarded as one of the world’s leading figures in adventure and mountain cinematography. Over a career spanning more than three decades, he has filmed in high mountains, caves, Arctic regions, jungles and some of the most remote places on Earth — from Everest and the South Pole to Papua New Guinea, Greenland and Venezuela. His work is connected with more than eighty extreme-location films and productions recognised with awards including BAFTAs and an International Emmy. His best-known credits include Touching the Void and the BBC documentary series Human Planet. In 2019, he received the Grand Prize from the International Alliance for Mountain Film for his outstanding contribution to mountain filmmaking. At MHFF, he brings the perspective of a storyteller who captures adventure from the inside — camera in hand, in places where ordinary film crews could never go.
